When I stop the SDS100 on the exact same frequency that the TRX-1 is decoding, programmed as a DMR freq., it doesn't even make a hit on the signal bar. I can't imagine the TRX-1 is that much more sensitive on DMR than the SDS100. The SDS100 sure does do a good job with the P25 Simulcast systems.These are listed here as well. Since the introduction of the BC250D scanner Uniden has used a standardized 12-digit serial number protocol as follows: 383Z88123456. It is known that the BC780XLT did not use this serial number protocol so it was likely instituted about 2001 with the follow up BC785D and BC250D which did.Jun 16, 2018 · There is output indicating the SDS-100 Sub-processor. If you type a lower-case ASCII charactor from a limited set (dhlmoqrwz), several lines of formatted ASCII numbers are sent from the scanner. This looks like engineering debugging output rather than a customer feature. The sub-processor appears to be a NXP LPC4370. The G5 battery will last MUCH longer, and it’s lower capacity than the SDS100 with big battery. Both fully charged and locked onto one TG, the G5 lasted 20.5 hours, while the SDS lasted 8 hours. Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. I get CC alerts several hundred meters from mast mounted 25W repeaters sending beacons - but my Baofeng UV-5R failed to trigger CC even about 60 meters from my house.
